It looks like the Sr games is moving dates in 2009. This would put the poky tri on August 1. Are there any major conflicts with other events that anyone knows about? Burley spudman is July 25 and Emmett is Aug 8? I can't find any other local races right off the bat. The Rush is mid August if memory serves.

Let me know what you think before things go to print! In 2009 we will probably put a cap on entrants just in case things go crazy. probably 275 is the very top we would ever want in the pool. Because of pool restrictions 3 waves is probably the max as well.

I am also looking forward to allowing club members to volunteer their way to a discounted or free entry in 2009- or even indenturing someone else into earning you a discount.

I know the poky tri has always been a bit of a bumpkin race, but I hope it at least has fewer snags this year, better results and better communication with participants early on.

The city jettisoned my new chip timing system from the 2009 budget, I'm trying to find a back door. Wish me luck.
